What is Clinical Manual Lymphatic Drainage?
Clinical Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a specialised, gentle therapy designed to stimulate lymph flow, reduce swelling, and support detoxification and immune function. At Totally Well, MLD is performed by clinically trained therapists, not spa technicians.
Do you treat lymphoedema and lipoedema?
Yes. We provide lymphatic care for lymphoedema and lipoedema, including early-stage support and ongoing management. Treatments are tailored to your condition, symptoms, and medical history, and may form part of a broader decongestive approach.
Is lymphatic drainage safe after surgery?
Yes, when performed correctly. Clinical MLD can be safely introduced as early as a few days post-surgery, depending on your procedure and clearance. Early intervention helps reduce swelling, discomfort, fibrosis, and supports faster recovery.
Are your therapists clinically trained?
Yes.
