What is Clinical Manual Lymphatic Drainage?
Clinical Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a specialised, gentle therapy designed to stimulate lymph flow, reduce swelling, and support detoxification and immune function. At Totally Well in Robina, MLD is performed by clinically trained therapists.
Do you treat lymphoedema and lipoedema?
Yes. We provide lymphatic care for lymphoedema and lipoedema, including early-stage support and ongoing management. Treatments are tailored to your condition, symptoms, and medical history, and may form part of a broader decongestive approach.
Is lymphatic drainage safe after surgery?
Yes, when performed correctly. Clinical MLD can be safely introduced as early as a few days post-surgery, depending on your procedure and clearance. Early intervention helps reduce swelling, discomfort, fibrosis - supporting faster, smoother recovery.
Are your therapists clinically trained?
Yes. Our therapists are qualified Remedial Massage Therapists with formal training in Clinical Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy, including post-surgical care, scar tissue management, and fascia-lymph interactions. Our lymphatic training is endorsed by the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA), and all treatments are delivered within evidence-informed clinical standards.

Yes. We offer HICAPS on the spot for eligible services under remedial massage and clinical lymphatic therapies, depending on your fund and level of cover.
